Mixed Feelings.

So.

Today is the first day of a BYUI fall semester since 2009 that I don't have any classes. Four years ago. My, how time flies.

And it feels a bit strange.

Part of me is kinda' happy.

Especially when I saw the Facebook post from BYUI about getting started on Introductory Week work and stuff.

Part of me is kinda' sad.

I love learning, and it's definitely harder to learn things through self-motivation instead of due dates. Not that I haven't been learning lots through the research and writing I've been doing. But it's not quite the same.

I have been keeping busy with my writing job and with some work for John, so that's good. And I'm thinking of taking two web development classes in winter and spring semesters. We'll have to see if that works out. It would be nice to add some extra skills to my resume for future employment opportunities.

This is also the first fall semester in several years that John and/or I haven't been in Rexburg getting kids settled in school.

It's strange.

And I'm blessed with so many great BYUI memories that I'm very grateful for.
