So I did!
I spent four days in Denver, and loved it--I could seriously live there! Two of the kids she nannies were at their Dad's in Arizona, so it was just me and her and the cutest little two-year-old...ever...well, except for my own two-year-olds, of course...for the four days. We went to the park, shopping, Olive Garden (as is our annual birthday lunch tradition), and the zoo. And since we went running, I got to add "Denver, Colorado" to my list of places I've run. :)
And I must say, I cannot wait to be a Grandma - it was so fun seeing the world through a two-year-old's eyes!
And he calls me "Susie." Which is so cute! He's the only one who can get away with that, I must say. :)
I facetimed with Kam the other night, and got to talk to him, and he said, "Hi, Susie!"
Awww...melt my heart!
Anyway.

Can you believe it? The Kamala Cafe!!! |

Of course, we just had to eat at the Kamala Cafe! We had the yummy lettuce wraps. |
The family Kam nannies for took us out to dinner on her birthday, and it was so fun! They are an awesome family and I really couldn't wish for a better family for her to live with and work for if I hand-picked them myself!

Me and Heidi, one of Kam's employers. Chris had already left for work so I didn't get a picture with him. :( |
She's moving back to Arizona with them at the end of September, and found a place to live after only two days. That's a tender mercy for sure! She's going to move into a really nice house with 3 other girls, and it sounds like the perfect fit for her. She's pretty excited for this next adventure in her life, and really happy about moving back to Arizona!
It's such a blessing to have kids who are so happy and making wise choices.
I really couldn't ask for more!
