Parker's mission: The first two months. In pictures.

Parker has been on his mission for two months. Today. These past two months have absolutely flown by!

Here is his mission, so far, in pictures. I don't know who the people are in a lot of the pictures, but wanted to post them anyway.

First of all, this is what we got to do last night:

Doesn't he look great?! He's doing really well. And it was so fun to skype with him for 45 minutes!

This is how we did it: We had Zach and Angela on speaker phone and Kam in Virginia at Steve and Rebekah's house on their laptop on John's skype account on the ipad (which I'm holding up so she can see Parker on my laptop and vice versa). I'm sure there's an easier and more technologically fancy way to get everyone connected, and we'll have to work on that for Christmas. But this worked. It was so fun to have the whole family "together"! And Parker got to see Steve and Matthew, too!

Here are some pictures from Parker's picture cd that a very nice lady in his ward was kind enough to send to me, as well as some posted on facebook by people in his ward and Sister Smart, his mission president's wife (I love technology!):

At the MTC (Mission Training Center, Provo, UT)

His new bike (although he's only ridden it twice since he's in a car area right now.)

Random pictures:

At his first Zone Meeting

With his companion, Elder Albright. They get along really well!

Laying sod for a family in his ward (he got to put his sod laying skills to good use!):

And I must say that I love being a Missionary Mom. He's doing really well, he's serving others, he's sharing the gospel, and he's having fun!

What more could a mom want for her son?!
