I have so many pictures on my desktop waiting to be blogged that my computer has slowed way down.
Subtle hint?
I think so.
Way back on March 2nd, the kids and I participated with our Young Men/Young Women at a Habitat for Humanity build in Atlanta. It was a very, very, very, very... cold day. We even had snow flakes falling from time to time. Kailen worked outside most of the day and was about frozen. Some nice lady she was working with went to Family Dollar and bought her and some other girls some thermal socks. That was one very nice lady!
I've worked with the Habitat organization before, and it is always an amazing experience. The future homeowner worked right alongside us, and it was fun to see her excitement at finally getting a home of her own.
It's an awesome program!
Clark Howard (yes, THE Clark Howard) talked to us for a few minutes before we started working:
Yeah.
He's pretty cool.
Here are some pictures from the day:

She's good.
The whole Collins Hill Ward Crew:
Although it felt like it took until the next day to totally thaw out, it was a great day and it felt good to help others.
And I learned how to paint interior doors so that no brush strokes show!
A skill that hopefully won't come in too handy. :)
