Huh?

In all my moments of daydreaming about being a Mom, I don't think this one ever entered my mind.

Yes, Kailen gets to make a mole for Chemistry. Her element is platinum, so she's making a "Carrie Undermole." You know, like, Carrie Underwood?

Very clever.

Here's the beginning:

I also never thought I'd be sewing hair into something, or anything, for that matter.  It was a little bit trial-and-error, but finally, with some help from our trusty glue gun, we got all the hair to actually stay in the mole.

Here's Carrie Undermole now.  Kailen just needs to make clothes for her.  Isn't she cute?

Eventually Carrie Undermole will have curly hair, and we're trying to figure out how to do some pretty eyelashes.

And...I just couldn't resist...

When we were at Hobby Lobby the other day buying the stuff for Carrie Undermole, I saw the perfect fabric for another Ipad cover, and I just had to buy it. Especially since it was the perfect excuse to use some more of my bright pink elastic, because who would want such pretty elastic to go to waste?!

It's a win-win, for sure.

And we were able to get all this done today because ilearn is down, as in all kinds of scary black and red warnings hit the screen, which means that I cannot do any homework. I called the online help desk and they said it will be down until Monday.

Oh darn.

Now that's a tragedy.

Luckily I already worked ahead a bit. I finished Death Comes to the Archbishop last night, which is one of my big assignments for next week.

Now what I will do? The possibilities are endless...
