We've been busy.

We had an awesome Christmas break this year. Zach and Angela were here for the first two weeks and it was fun to have all our kids at home at the same time.

Last week the girls and I got a lot of projects done:

Kam wasn't able to quilt her quilt since my machine wouldn't cooperate. She's going to finish it at school and then donate it to an organization she found on the internet. I love the colors!

I found a pattern for an Ipad cover that I tried, and I love the end result!

In fact, I loved the pattern so much that I made another one. I found this fabric at Hancock's and it just spoke to me. I love the watercolor-y pattern and the colors. And Hancock's has colored elastic! Yeah!

And I figure that Ipad covers are like purses - you need more than one! :o)  The pattern's on one of my Pinterest boards, if anyone's interested. The only change I made is that I put a lightweight batting on both sides of the three large chipboard pieces for more cushion and added 1/4" to all the fabric measurements. It was so easy!

Now back to the "real" world as today is the first day of Crazy Semester #2. Although it definitely won't be quite as crazy as last semester, thankfully.

Fourteen (14!!!!) weeks until graduation!

But who's counting...
