She is soooooo my daughter.

Last night I went into Kailen's room to tell her goodnight and she was reading this:

It's one of my copies of The Scarlet Letter that I studied in high school. The interesting thing is all the tabs she's added as she's been reading.

It's obviously a genetic tendency, because this is what my textbooks for my English class this semester look like:

When I gave her the book, she asked if she could write and mark in it.

"Uh, have you seen my textbooks?" I asked. "Of course you can!"

Yep.

That's my girl!
