The mystery of the missing sweater.

Yesterday Abby was shivering, because it is getting a bit winter-ish around here, so I put her really cute purple and navy polka dot sweater on her. Later that evening she went out to go potty. A bit later Kailen noticed that she didn't have her sweater on.  

I hadn't taken it off of her, John hadn't taken it off of her, and Kailen hadn't taken it off of her.

It was a mystery.

It's kind of hard to get it over her head, so we didn't think she could've taken it off.

We looked all around the kitchen and family room.

John looked in the backyard.  It was getting dark so he looked as best he could but he couldn't see it.

It was still gone.

We asked Abby what she'd done with her sweater?

She just looked at us.

This morning I remembered about the missing sweater and looked in the backyard.  We have a pile of branches in the back corner and this is what I saw:

Yep.

Abby's missing sweater.

Abby is a nosy puppy, so I'm sure she was looking at something in the pile of branches and got stuck.  I'm still not sure how she wiggled out of her sweater, but obviously she did.

The mystery of the missing sweater was solved.

And we had a good chuckle.

Some days you really need a good chuckle.
