And I'm absolutely loving it!
Kailen and I spent a couple of hours on our screened-in porch last evening. She was finishing The Help and I was reading a chapter from my Community Health textbook. I'm pretty excited about this class and I think it will be really interesting. I'm also taking an Environmental Stewardship class that I think will also be really interesting (it's my very last Science class!). I love to learn about new things that are outside of my usual English class realm.
I just love this time of year. Soon the leaves will start changing colors and the days won't be so hot and humid (hallelujah!). I'll be able to study on the porch all day if I want to. It's so quiet and peaceful out there, and the birds sing and the girls love to sit by me on the swing as I study.
Although I could really do without that obnoxious woodpecker that has decided he likes the front corner of our house. John will have to deal with him when he gets home on Friday.
It was also cooler when Diane and I ran yesterday morning. As in 59 degrees cool. It was awesome and almost the perfect running weather.
Yes.
I am so ready for fall.
