[6/2/12] Stone Mountain.

Last Saturday night we went to Stone Mountain to watch the laser show. My parents and Janine hadn't been there since we lived here the first time, which was about 15 years ago.

Watching the laser show at Stone Mountain is one of our favorite things to do in the summertime, and this laser show was extra special. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, there was a bonus part at the end of the regular show that was patriotic oriented and there were lots of extra fireworks. The bonus part was awesome! The patriotic part was very emotional for me and the fireworks were probably some of the best I've seen, and to be so close to them made them even better!

Since it was Memorial Day weekend, we got there extra early so we could get a good seat. We were very thankful we went early because it was packed!  John was worried about me going to Stone Mountain, but I was an extra good girl and tried to be a really good "rester" Friday and Saturday, and I did alright. I was a little extra tired Sunday, but it was so worth it!

Waiting with a few of our new 1000+ friends:

Still waiting...

Since we had so much waiting time, we decided to take more pictures:

Zach and Angela

My dad and mom

Janine and me
I actually don't mind the waiting time because it's great people watching time. And boy, were there lots of people to watch. :o)

As we were trying to leave, with our new 1000+ friends, Kam was so cute. She was worried someone would bump me (ouch!), so she kind of guarded me, which is funny because she is so tiny. :o)

It was a great night!!!
