Last Friday I read the best book I've read in a long time.
I had heard about it from some friends in Arizona and wanted to read it.
I told my sister-in-law Sarah about it when she was here for Parker's graduation.
She read it and loved it!
Another sister-in-law Rachel read it and loved it too.
I figured I'd better read it.
So I requested it from my local library branch and it took several days to get here, and then it took several days more for me to pick it up.
I picked it up on Friday morning, started reading it after lunch, and finished about 5-ish p.m.
I could not put it down.
Could. not.
I gave it to my friend Diane to read, and she's having a hard time putting it down, too.
It is very well written, especially for an author's first novel. It is set in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice time period, but so much easier to read.
I laughed, I cried, I got nervous and stressed.
It was a pretty-near perfect book, and left me feeling wonderful.

I'll definitely be adding this to my own collection.
Because I definitely want to read it again.
And again.
And again.
I'm pretty sure Edenbrooke will be my book club choice this coming year.
And I cannot wait for this author's next book to come out.
Because I'll definitely be reading it. :o)
