[4/2/12] Monday Memories: Silly Girls.

Perhaps the funniest thing that happened last week involved the girls.

Some background information:  Hailey likes meats and grains. That's all.  Abby likes meats, grains, fruits, and some vegetables.

One afternoon I gave them each a mini raisin bran muffin. Abby took hers to her regular place where she goes to eat a treat, thinking that she's safe from Hailey's attempts to steal that treat, although she's right in the middle of the family room, so I don't really understand her logic. Oh well.

Hailey took her muffin into her crate. A few minutes later I looked into her crate and this is what I saw:

No. 

Those little brown things are not what you're thinking they are.

Those are raisins. 

Hailey spit out every. single. raisin.

Abby heard me laughing and came to see what was going on. Hailey started to growl because she did not want Abby eating her raisins, even though she obviously didn't want them.

They are so like little kids sometimes.

I coaxed Hailey out of her crate. Here's another view taken before I let Abby into her crate to enjoy her raisins:

It was so funny, and we all laughed for quite some time.

And it was a tender mercy of humor sent to us that day.

I love those!
