One thing my clients realized really quickly when we started working together was that their perception of a serving size was usually larger than the actual serving size. They were eating more than they thought they were. This can be a problem when you're trying to get healthier and/or lose weight.

Here's an easy-to-visualize way to check your serving sizes:
