[12/27/11] Christmas lights.

John loves to decorate for Christmas. Outside decorations are his specialty, although he does really well on the inside ones, too. He tries to be really patient and wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas lights and decorations.  Every time we move, he has fun decorating a new house. And it changes from year to year.

He is especially proud of the "tree" he put up this year. Several of our neighbors have stopped and asked him how he did it.

Parker's not so fond of the "tree" because the star is on his bedroom window. I guess he's not a fan of the blinking lights thing in his room.

But that's okay. The Christmas season seems to last such a short time.

And during any school breaks, Parker likes to sleep in the family room with our little chihuahua girls anyway.

It's always kind of a sad day when all the Christmas decorations and lights come down.

But we can look forward to next year's installment.
