When I was actively working as a Certified Personal Trainer, I would teach fitness and nutrition classes at a local gym, to our church ladies' group and to other groups. I loved doing this. I loved sharing what I'd learned with others, with the hope that what I taught might in some way help them to do better in what can be two very difficult areas for a lot of people.
While doing research for a presentation I found this quote:
When I read it, it was definitely a "WOW!" moment. Very profound but very simple.
We can take better care of this wonderful gift - our bodies - that we've each been given by a loving Heavenly Father, in very small and simple ways. We can choose to exercise, even for a few minutes. We can choose to not eat this or that, or to eat this or that, just for today. We can choose to change our attitudes toward fitness and nutrition.
Click here for a list of 100 small steps we can take toward better fitness and nutrition.
Choose just one to do today. And then one for tomorrow, and so forth.
Small steps can add up, and when we're doing things that we know are good for us, even though they might be hard, our whole outlook on life can change for the better.
It's awesome!
