[9/5/11] Monday Memories: Back To School BYUI Style

This is where three-fifths of my kids live most of the time (and I "live" there part-time via the internet):

Our family has quite the history with this institution of higher learning:

~I went there and graduated with an Associate Degree in Accounting.

~John went there and graduated with an Associate Degree in Economics.

~John and I met there (for the second time, but that is another story for another post), got engaged and were married in one semester.

This amazing place is where our family began.

In September 2006 Zach continued the tradition. He lived at Viking Village for the year he attended BYUI before his mission. He lived at Viking Village the semester after his mission, which is the same semester he met Angela, our new daughter-in-law. Their family began at BYUI, too, which I think is a neat family tradition to continue.

Move-in day, 2006

Kam continued the tradition in September 2009.

She lived at American Manor for her first three semesters.

This was her room on move-in day. A few hours later this same room looked as completely organized as Kam's room always does.

She heads back to BYUI on Tuesday for semester #5. Zach and Angela are already moved into their new apartment in Rexburg and are ready to go back to school too.

And even though I'll miss them all terribly, I wouldn't want them to be anywhere else.

Because they will be in one very special place.
