I am One Hip Mom, yes I am, according to Star 94.1 here in Atlanta. I've been listening to this station since we moved here and most of the past two days as I've been driving around town looking for fifteen - 15! - matching picture frames and other decorating-type things for John's new office. He's holding a training meeting next week and wants the office to be in tip-top shape.
Today Star 94.1 stated that if I'm a Mom (check) and I like every other song they play (check), then I am One. Hip. Mom. I do like more than every other song they play (except for that potty mouth Cee Lo Green who has to change words in his songs to make them appropriate for station play time. Just my opinion), and I am a regular listener except when Mr. Green comes on, at which time I or my kids will change the station. Because they know how I feel about Mr. Green.
I guess it's a pretty cool thing to be a Hip Mom, especially when I'm a Mom to teenagers. I think I'll go with that. Even if my kids don't appreciate my newly-found Hippedness.
And I should probably let you know that if you live in my area and you're looking for 22x28 black Trendsetter poster frames from Michael's, I'm afraid you're totally out of luck. I bought every single one from all the Michael's within a 20 mile radius. Sorry...But John's office will look absolutely fabulous by Wednesday. Especially when I'm done hanging all fifteen - 15! - pictures. :o)
