Imagine my utter surprise, coupled with a bit of unbelief, tossed with some sadness, when we couldn't find a single set of a few days. During the entire summer. Our entire summer was scheduled! We went to Florida for a few days the week after school was out. John and I went to NYC the next week. Our teenager friends came to visit from Arizona the next week. Zach and Angela came to visit for 1 1/2 weeks the next week. Girls Camp was last week. Scout Camp is this week. I go to Education Week next week. And the last week before school starts is filled with a dentist's appointment for Parker, wisdom teeth removal for Parker (his last week before school starts is going to totally stink!), and high school orientation for both kids. And in the midst of all this was John's usual travelling-for-work schedule.
Unbelievable.
So this week has been the "summertime" week you dream of for Kailen and I. (John has been in Boston and Florida, Kam has been working, and Parker has been at Scout Camp). We've had nowhere we needed to be all week except for Young Womens last night. We've slept in a couple of days which for me means oh, about 8 am (but much later for my girl), stayed in our pajamas a couple of days, and had an awesome week!
Here's what I've done:
Finished up my Spring Semester Old Testament class:
Kailen taught me how to make this, since this is the "in" thing right now with my Young Women, and I like to try to be "in" with them:
I've been reading this again:

I've been working on this (specifically, the one on the left, but with the handle changed a bit. I don't like that rope handle):

And we've been watching a lot of this on Netflix while we've been doing the above because we are multi-taskers:

And it's been a fabulous week!
