So, here I go……. I’ve tried this blogging thing before but it didn’t go really well. It was a family blog and I did do an okay job posting weekly emails from our son while he was serving his mission for our church in Greece. But once he came home, the blog posts stopped. Pretty much completely. The last post was about a year-and-a-half ago. Which is a long time.
So, this new blog will be mine. All mine. Sure, I’ll include family stuff and other not-so-about-me stuff. But this will be a place for me to record stuff about, well, me. And I’m okay with that. I want to record what’s happening in my life in hopes that others, including my own family, might learn something or might find something helpful for their lives.
And unlike the last blog, I have a plan for this blog. I’m a girl that definitely needs a plan A, and a plan B, and a plan C… you get the idea. Limbo is not a state I live well in. At all. So this plan includes a Weekly Words of Wisdom that will help guide me through the week, a Monday Memories where I can document things I want to remember but haven’t written down before. And some other ideas I haven’t added to my plan yet, they're still in the simmering stage in my brain.
What about the title of this blog of mine? I seem to be living in a time of changing seasons. Sometimes they change monthly, sometimes daily. I’ve left the season of little kids at home and am moving into the season of having an emptier nest. I’m smack dab in the middle of the season of fulfilling my dream of earning a Bachelors degree and am on the outside edge of other seasons.
